P-One™

 P-One™ was scientifically designed to help maintain a healthy rumen and gastrointestinal tract. It includes live yeast and yeast culture that helps stimulate rumen bacteria, enzymes to aid in breakdown of fiber, and branded strains of Lactobacillus acidophilus that utilize glucose in the rumen, and work in the lower intestinal tract to maintain a healthy population of beneficial bacteria. P-One™ contains specifically designed ingredients at the right ratios to complement today’s rapidly fermentable rations.
Features
Lactobacillus acidophilus
- Contains branded strains A4000h™ and A2020™. These are naturally occurring strains of bacteria that function in the rumen to convert starch and sugars to lactic acid. In the intestinal tract they play a major role in protecting the animal from pathogen invasion by producing compounds called bacteriocins that kill or inhibit pathogens
Saccharomyces cerevisiae
- Live yeast shown to stimulate rumen bacteria, improve dry matter intake, improve fiber digestion and increase milk production
Enzymes
- Amylase which hydrolyzes starch
- Protease which hydrolyzes proteins
- ß-Glucanase which hydrolyzes beta glucans a type of non-starch polysaccharide found in typical dairy feedstuffs
- Hemicellulase which breaks down hemicellulose
Other
- Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) known to bind pathogens
