“It’s Logical” - Microbiology Nutrition

11/24/2021

“With Priority, you can do better, the cows can be better, it’s logical! I’m really happy with how the cows perform now, it’s a lot better,” shares Eduard Broeckx, owner of A&E Dairy, as he explains his experience with Priority IAC and the results he sees with Microbiology Nutrition.

In Part 2, Eduard follows up in this next installment of the newsletter to expand on how the A&E herd is eating a nutrient dense diet at 45lbs dry matter intake, consuming 20 pounds less dry matter intake on average than most herds. With Microbiology Nutrition– It’s not only amazing, it’s logical; an approach that makes sense and works! The ability to make more milk on less pounds of feed makes feeding the herd through Microbiology Nutrition much more cost effective. At A&E Dairy, Microbiology Nutrition has improved feed efficiency from less than 1.2lbs milk for every dry matter pound to a 2.0lbs of milk for every dry matter pound.

Moreover, components continue to climb. At press time and rolling out of the heat of summer, Eduard’s herd was seeing its highest component levels ever at a 4.5%fat and 3.4% protein; to date, the components continue to climb. Before starting with Priority, the Holstein and Jersey herd was only at 3.6% fat and3.25% protein.

Eduard is back again to share his experience from applying Microbiology Nutrition and the nutrition principles that Priority builds on as he talks with Richard Breunig, President and Founder of Priority IAC, and Lindy Riesterer, Microbiology Nutritionist. This is what he observes at his dairy, his own real research-proving site where the cows prove what works.
